Perfect getaway in Meriden 🏞️
This place has a lekker homely vibe, super clean, and the rooms are comfy! Brekkie was to die for, freshly cooked with loads of options. Found a chommie at the front desk who was really helpful with everything!
Could hear a bit of movement in the house, but no biggie, only during the day.

A delightful English breakfast treat
During my stay, I was pleasantly surprised by the outstanding full English breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day. The warm hospitality from Peter and Justine made me feel right at home, while the immaculate and thoughtfully decorated room provided both comfort and charm.
One minor downside was the shower temperature, which was a bit too hot to manage comfortably at times. I wished for clearer instructions on how to operate it, which would have enhanced the overall experience.

no vegetarian option for breakfast, just a standard English option that everyone else gets. not to mention the scalding shower, which woudl ve been easily fixed with proper instructions. i seriously expected a complimentary gesture for all the trouble, but of course, that didn’t happen. almost gave this place a good review, but just couldn’t.

the shower was a lil too hot at times and could use better ventelation! also, the wifi signal was weak in my room, which was kinda annoying.

Bathroom could use better ventilation!!! The Wi-Fi signal in the guest room was barely usable!!! Signage for the premises should be clearer for first-time visitors!!!

The well-decorated single room offered an inviting atmosphere, and the full English breakfast was a highlight that set a positive tone for each day. the shower temperature was inconsistent, often scalding, which would benefit from clear operational instructions. the lack of vegetarian breakfast options might be disappointing for some guests, and occasional noise from other guests could be heard during the stay.

Awesome stay with friends! The rooms were cozy and had thoughtful touches. We visited the NEC and enjoyed local eateries. Peter and Justine were super welcoming! Breakfast was spot on, served fresh and piping hot. Plus, the location made it easy to hop on a bus to Birmingham for a night out!
The shower was incredibly hot, which made it tough at times. It would be great if they could sort that out.
